I didn't exactly follow a straight line.
But there is a thread. I'm interested in what happens when people, systems and ideas meet — and in what we can make better once we pay attention.
Curiosity has a funny way of connecting things.

I'm Osayi: a Biomedical Science undergraduate at the University of Brighton, currently completing an industrial placement in GRE Facilities & Operations at NBCUniversal.
ProjectUP began with bringing community partners and participants together. She Bakes meant learning what it takes to keep an idea running week after week. At Big Games Machine, I found myself building a database to make media outreach more useful. Different rooms, same curiosity.
Now my placement puts me in the middle of the systems people rely on without always seeing them: workplace information, operations and the small decisions that make a place easier to use. Alongside it, the Royal Society of Biology's trainee trustee scheme is giving me another perspective on how organisations make decisions.
I can't leave a system alone without asking why it works the way it does, whether that's a facilities process, a bakery's supply chain, or a spreadsheet that doesn't add up. I like taking messy problems, making sense of the data behind them, and building something people actually want to use.
A timeline, not a straight line.

There is more than one way to make something.
Outside work, there are books, theatre, writing, making, plants, games and the occasional creative rabbit hole. I wanted this website to leave room for those things too.
